Over the past year, I have developed an interest in and love for Dwarf Nigerian and Pygmy goats, and really, any goat with long hair. Anyone who has been to my house recently has met Margaret and William. Their cheerful nature and good health has made me more aware of goats in need of better care, kind attention, and a comfortable place to live. If you have a goat or several goats you can no longer keep for any reason, please get in touch with me. If you know someone struggling to care for too many goats, please give them my phone number. I judge no one, nor do I "tell tales". My only intent is to have happy, well-fed goats frisking, playing, eating, and napping on my land.
I'll be tickled pink to see goats, old or young, pregnant or neutered, arriving. Will I take other farm animals? Sorry, no. I have to be realistic about what I can properly care for. Do you need to explain why you don't want your goats anymore? Nope. Can you visit later to see how they're doing? Yep. Can you have them back? Nope.
4-30-08: Exciting news! The goat population here has grown by five. Nancy, Cinnamon, Petey, Princess, and Bob have joined Margaret and William. The new goats are much better at eating weeds than M and W (spoiled...). They're all friendly, and seem to be very comfortable in their new home.
